Getting StartedQuickstart

Quickstart

Write a config, run AMI once and read your first report.

This guide takes a project from zero to its first report in about five minutes. You need Anthivo installed, an LLM key, and your app running locally.

Create a config

npx anthivo init writes a starter config. Point it at your requirements and the env file AMI should load.

anthivo.config.ts
import { defineConfig } from "anthivo"
export default defineConfig({ project: "checkout-service", requirements: "./docs/requirements.md", env: ".env.test", provider: { name: "anthropic", apiKey: process.env.ANTHROPIC_API_KEY! },})

Run AMI

Start your app, then run AMI from the project root. The run log streams each agent action as it happens.

bash
npx anthivo run

Read the report

When the run finishes, the CLI prints a summary and a link to the report in the control panel. Every failed test has a severity, repro steps and the requirement it breaks.

Commit anthivo.config.ts with your code. Requirements then change through pull requests like everything else.
